In album: pearl
This wedding cake was for a friend of mine. It is the first time I used a staircase and I don't think I'm a fan, but it turned out very pretty and the bride was happy. The crosses are turqouiose and are accented with edible pearls.

you did a beautiful job on the cakes the crosses are a great touch. fountains and stairs are for fussy cakes. maybe next time if they are in the budget, use a few more flowers on the tops of the cakes. The flowers in the fountain are very unique blend. on top of the satallite cakes, these would have been showstoppers

When I first started out, fountains and stairs were the ONLY cakes being requested! The nostalgia part of me really enjoys making and seeing them pop up now and then! Those crosses on the sides are a great effect!

thank you for the kind comments. i had wanted to put more flowers on it, but she didn't have the budget for that. I used daisys, peach roses, baby's breath, and teal spider mums.
