well, it's a 6" cake but it's 5.5 inches tall, so 10 big slices? The client was only having 6 to her dinner party, so there will absolutely be leftovers.

This is so beautiful! Is that buttercream? How did you sugar the flowers without them wilting?

yes, Martha's IMBC. You sugar the flowers the night before the cake is picked up. They absolutely can not go in the fridge, as the sugar tunrs moist and watery. They don't wilt because the sugar stiffens them hard.
