My Wedding Cake

This was my wedding cake - about the 3rd serious cake I had made. I had grand plans, but in between working and co-making my wedding dress, I ran out of time. I was still really happy with this cake - having all my friends and family enjoy something I had made at my wedding was really special.

The shiny base is actually a ceramic cake plate given to me by my husband's uncle.

Congratulations..... although I am a little envious.... arrange a wedding, make your own cake and make your own dress. I struggled just to get there on the day! Well done, this is really elegant
