Thank you all. I'm sorry, I hit the upload button before I could write a description. The mermaid is made entirely of modeling paste, her head is made using a mold and then handpainted. The pearls, seaweed coral and octopus are made with fondant and the scroll is done with pastillage, then piped with royal icing and painted silver. The shell is made from two white chocolate mud cakes baked in the wilton shell cake tin, then covered in ganache and fondant, painted with edible chalks.....phew
