Orlando is the most famous character of the Sicilian puppet theater "Opera dei Pupi". The "Opera dei Pupi", typical of the Sicilian storytelling tradition, is a characteristic theatre where the puppets, manoeuvred by the puppeteers on forefronts appositely created, represent the exploits of the greatest medieval Chevaliers, and in particular the action of Charlemagne and his paladins.
