I have never carved chocolate before, so this was my first stab at it. I was fearful when asked, but my husband is the best motivator :-)

Tips: Order clay tools and wood-carving tools...they can be super cheap and work with smaller details.

A dusting of an appropriate shade of luster dust, in this case antique silk, around the edges and where light hits adds antiquity and a sculptural element for contrast, so the details pop.

My Lesson: Get my hands on a quality extruder! :-)
