Happy Birthday Nicholas

Dark chocolate cake, bubblegum flavored filling (made by adding a packet of tropical Kool ade to buttercream). The cake was then covered with marshmallow fondant over which I applied the one hundred one inch squares made of a mix of fondant and candy clay made with Wilton candy melts. I used Wicked Goodies modeling chocolate recipe (in her wonderful book) to make the candy clay and it turned out perfect. I slightly blended the scraps to make the squares for trimming the sides.
