All buttercream, five tiered wedding cake. Pearl quilt pattern, Alencon lace stencil with detailed over piping. I purchased the stencil through Gateaux, Inc and used tulle over the stencil to achieve a better "lace" effect. I'm SO proud of this cake. It's humbling to see how far I have come through learning as much as I can, and making as many cakes as I can. I decorated my first tiered cake ever in February of this year, and I cannot wait to tackle new challenges that scare the crap out of me, as much as THIS one scared the crap out of me. haha.
