"half And Half" Wedding Cake

I loved doing this wedding cake. Chocolate mud cake, filled and covered with ganache, then iced with plain fondant and chocolate fondant. The white fondant front has white royal icing stenciling and the dark chocolate "drippy icing" is chocolate ganache. Topped off with chocolate strawberries....yum :)

This is a beautifully done cake. Is the cake inside two different flavors split down the center or just the frosting.  I had a request for a cake like this and don't know where I would start.

Hi tbell81 - thank you. This cake (each tier is a different flavour) was filled, ganached and stacked, just like we would normally do. I covered each tier with chocolate-brown coloured fondant, then overlayed white fondant over one half, and stenciled the pattern onto it. The opposite side then just had dark brown chocolate ganache drizzled down the sides. I'm not sure I got the sides right, but I made a drape of white fondant to disguise the joint between both sides. Hope that helps a bit, you will love creating this cake  :)
