I Made This Cake For A Friend From Ponce Puerto Rico He Loves His Country And The Flag I Got The Inspiration For This Cake From A Paint
I made this cake for a friend from Ponce, Puerto Rico. He loves his country and the flag. I got the inspiration for this cake from a painting about "Vejigantes" and carnivals on the island. Vejigantes are people that dress up with masks and clown like costumes and like to chase kids during the carnivals. Thanks for looking!

Thanks you! Glor08 I always make my cakes from scratch. I use different recipes. This was a vanilla/rum scented cake with guava buttercream.
This cake captures all the essence of the "Carnaval Ponceño".And the cake combination with the guava sounds really yummy.Mi DH is from Ponce too.He said the cake looks awesome.Good job!
