I was having problems finding a square stand I could rent, and this was the solution someone here had. It is glass blocks from Lowes and a floor tile. This way I can use as many or as few as I need for support., and they are CHEAP!
I just wanted to add that it was Tripletmom who first mentioned the use of the glass blocks to me. There is a great thread on this under Square cake stand problems. It has some cool pictures of other cakes using the same idea!

I think your cake and cakestand is so cool great idea you could change the stand up many way I'd like to try that !
