Grandpa's Fishing Creel

Again I got my inspiration from the CC galleries, thank you all so much for sharing your cake photos!! I made this for my Grandpa's birthday. It gave me quite a bit of trouble, I see a ton of flaws but he really loved it, so did everyone else at the party! It was a chocolate cake with Nutella filling. ( Mmmmm!) Buttercream, chocolate clay straps and fondant fishing flies. Thank you all for helping with this one! I needed it!

It's wonderful Look how well this turned out! I'm sorry you had issues with it but you'd never know by looking at the finished cake. your grandpa must have loved it.

You did awesome! No need to feel embarrassed on this one, it looks great and I bet they just loved it! And if you are like me...the longer you stare at your cake, the more you pick it apart! Looking at it, I dont see any flaws hun, Great Job=)
