Red_Floral_Wrap

I made this cake for my niece/goddaughter's wedding to a man she met while teaching in Mexico. The wedding colors were red & white and the theme was based on a Mexican fiesta. They brought the topper with from Mexico.

I first put a rosette border around the tiers, but decided it was too fussy and took away from the flowers, so I scraped it off (after everything was done!) and changed the border. So glad the underlying frosting had crusted well enough to allow me to make the change. Still a bit nerve wracking, though.
