This is Fairy Garden made by my 9 y/o for 4h. Unit 1 is based on decorating without fancy icing. This cake has fun candies from a specialty candy shop such as gummy butterfly, frog, and flowers as well as rock shaped candy. She made the fairies, roses, ladybugs, mushrooms, and a butterfly out of melted starburst. The cake is lined with kit kats to look like a tree trunk. The grass is coconut. The pond is candy sugar. Other mushrooms are made from gummy raspberries and Mike and Ikes. Linguini is used instead of toothpicks to hold up the fairy.
