Here I present you the birthday cake for my Dad. Those houses are typical for the old Germany or Switzerland. So this house is inspired by the parental home of my Dad. The original was from the 18th century. The cake weighs about 5 kg, this is about 11 lbs. I filled it with a cream-cheese-curd-buttercream and for the covering with fondant I used a chocolate ganache. When I gave the cake to my Dad, he didn't want to cut him. He was absolutely speechless.
