My Wizard of Oz themed cake done in a steampunk style. This cake is what I imagined Dorothy and the Tin Man's cake would look like if they ever got married :) A labour of love as this took what felt like millions of hours! The map of Oz is all hand drawn with an edible pen, the shoes and tin heart are made of modelling chocolate. The cake filled balloon is covered with a sugar veil net, and the basket is good ol' fashioned basket weave with royal icing.
