My son and I are HUGE Harry Potter fans, his 6th birthday party. This is my first, and dare I say last, ice cream cake. Very difficult to decorate, cake kept melting so I had to keep re-freezing it. The design was ok, though. Just enlarged the HP logo, made a parchment transfer and used red and yellow colored piping gel. Also used red edible glitter. I used stiff heavy whipping cream for the border. Another bad idea, but it all tasted good.
