The lace band is Wilton Sugar Sheets first sprayed with Wilton Color Mist and then dried for a few minutes in its plastic envelope to help the color to set. I then let the sugar sheet sit out in air for a few minutes. The lavender color was achieved by first spraying pink, then purple. I used a punch to create the lace band and attached to cake with piping gel. I enjoyed experimenting with a lot of new elements with cake. I also used the glass again with candle lights. My daughter's God - Mother loved her 65th Birthday Cake!
