A mini castle cake for my niece. An 8" round chocolate filled with vanilla buttercream. Covered in sugarpaste (fondant), the turrets are made out of small cupcakes and the turrets are wafer ice cream cones....unfortunately the pantile roofing effect I was going for didn't quite work, as my family all thought they looked more like trees!!! Not the easiest project as I had to travel up to my Mum's on the train (3 hours journey) carrying the cake ready baked and some of my cake decorating tools. So I tried to keep the design simple! Luckily the birthday girl loved it.
