I had painted a pixelated link giving his heart to zelda. But someone in the kitchen staff accidentally dumped a whole pitcher of water on it. It melted the paint on the white plaque of the characters and the sliver paint came off if I touched it. So since I read on here that fondant will dry in three hours, I was calm and just peeled off the painting and threw it out.and dried the cake stand and walked away. I had to settle for what I could do in ten minutes since the ceremony was starting soon. So I just rolled out some more fondant and used an edible marker to write the bride and grooms name. This groom cake was a surprise for my cousin.
