Made this monster truck cake for my son's 5th birthday. It was a little intimidating since I've never made a carved and shaped cake before. I wasn't able to find a way to cover the cake in one single piece of fondant (with out it tearing or weighing down the cake too much) so I just covered the cake in sections. Either way my son was ecstatic and that's all that mattered :)
