1st birthday cake for my son. I've mostly only done fondant covered cakes but used the opportunity to practice a BC covered cake. Used Sweetapolita's swirl cake method, although I probably could have 'swirled' the colors together a bit better. Used one of the bases from my springform pan for the top tier because I forgot to buy an extra cake base lol! The top 4" tier came off as a smash cake. Not terribly happy with how the name and number plaque's turned out, was testing out my edible markers but would have been better off piping them instead.
