The mom wanted "girly ducks" for her daughter's first birthday plus a coordinating smash cake. I LOVED On the Sweet Side's duck cake: http://tinyurl.com/o58c582 and used that as my inspiration. The cake was an 8" yellow cake filled and iced with vanilla buttercream and covered with MMF. The smash cake was a single 4" yellow cake iced with vanilla buttercream. All decor is fondant.
