This cake was done for my mom's birthday. She wanted fun and color. She asked for a key lime cake and that is what she got. Cake is key lime with cream cheese BC filling, and iced in lemon/lime buttercream. The lemons/limes are fondant same as the MOM. It was FABULOUS! We did a "Key West" birthday. All decorations were key west, with a fish dinner and the cake. Mom loved it and celebrated in the cool Key West.....Thanks to JennT for the key lime cake recipe..it was a hit!!!

Mom's birthday cake

Thank you for the comments. The letters are fondant rolled out and shaped then painted in luster dust. Mom is doing great!!!
