This is a White Almond Sour Cream Cake, iced with buttercream and filled with a mixture of buttercream and pureed apricot preserves.  I brushed the layers with Grand Marnier prior to frosting.  Edible image message.  Fondant plaques with edible image floral sprays.  Molded sugar vase.  Gumpaste flowers.  White chocolate plaques and pearls.

My Sister's Birthday Cake

Thank loads! I really loved doing this cake. Plus, I got to practice a lot of different techniques. I had never even molded chocolate before, if you can believe that! Yes...impression mat on the sides. I let it crust overnight before applying the mat. Worked very well.

Wow, Wow, Wow!!!! You did a fabulous job. Where to start, the flowers are just lovely as are the borders, the plaques and the vase. I love the edible images. It is just so elegant. Your sister is going to cry!!!
