Thanks everyone for your great comments! Eeyore is made with fondant. I usually find a picture of a character that i like then tint some fondant the right color for main part. I cut out my character, then roll out my fondant lay my cut out on top of my fondant then cut it out with an exacto. Then I tint the remaining colors (in eeyores case pink) and cut out all the accent details and use sugar glue to sitck them on the base shape. Then I dry the whole thing out and use edible pens to add all the detail.

This is so cute! I'd like to make something like this for my son's first birthday. I havent used fondant before though, does it dry out hard or is it still flexible? It seems like eeyore is bending around your cake, do you have to dry it that way? How far in advance can you make the fondant characters? Great cake!
