This cake was made for a close friend's retirement party. The theme of the party was red and purple hats (I think she's going to start a chapter of Red Hat Society). The hat is a ball pan cake, covered in fondant, and BC frosting. The cake is a 3-layer, white/lemon marble with lemon pudding frosting.

OMG .. this is so weird! My sister called me to ask me about a red hat lady retirement cake.. I had no idea what she was referring to.. then I get off the elevator at work and see 2 ladies w/red hats on and now I see your cake! This is sooooooooo cute!! you did a wonderful job and now I know what red hat ladies are! :)
