The birthday girl asked for a Rhode Island Red chicken. I used the Wilton duck pan and carved the head down a little. The boards for the box are made of gumpaste and the hay is made from gumpaste using my pasta maker. I hid a little chick coming out of an egg in the back of the cake (you can see that in the extra photo).
