Don't know why you hated the cake. Did a good job. The icing is so smoothand your flower placement is good. I like the little buds on bottom border and the pink board makes the cake stand out. :)

Thanks - I think I was just turned off by the whole class and it left a sour taste in my mouth! I was just glad that the class was finally ending. I guess b/c she was trying to make us do what she wanted us to do even though she wasn't going by the book either and I was being a rebel!! LOL - I added the extra to the bottom border and thought it made it look a little better - And my roses look like carnations!! LOL my icing was being difficult and I just had to let it go in the end!! :)

I had the same exact experience with my course. Plus she was a really CRABBY person. So I am just learning on my own. Your cake looks great and I bet it was yummy!
