Fondant Covered Cupcakes
These are one of my proposals for a cupcake wedding cake. They wanted chocolate with carrots and vanilla with peas. "They go together like peas and carrots!" is what I was told. They will be presented in vegetable crates for an outside, bluegrass reception. They are white cake with buttercream and Satin Ice fondant and chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream and dark chocolate Satin Ice fondant.
Thank you!
I love these!
Thanks!
Really neat idea!!
These got by me, they are so neat. My computer has been down for a couple weeks. I had to call the Geek Squad!
 Thanks!
Oh! The peas and carrots are buttercookies I ordered on-line.
Very cute! How did you form the fondant like that, so perfectly shaped? ( I also just clued it that they are sitting on a mirror...)
Thanks! I just put the fondant over the upside down cupcake and used a round cutter that fit over the cupcake to trim the fondant. Yes, they're on a mirror.
Very neat covering, which on small sized cakes can be very tricky
I got them from the Vosswinkel Family Cookie Company on line. They were expensive but very tasty and a pleasure to do business with.
where did you find the pea cookies on line I would love to use them on mine.
