First cake that I had to figure out by myself. First time I hand-painted something.

A friend asked for a cake Settlers themed for her sons birthday. She just asked for the name to be on the cake, I've added some river, rocks, trees and little houses on my own. I still didn't figure out how to cover cake with fondant so that it's smooth. I've watched tones of videos and I'm not sure what I', doing wrong but maybe next time will be bettter.
