A friend saw a beautiful cake created by Choko Late and asked if I could re-create it for their little one's birthday. I tried my best. One never realizes how difficult something is until one attempts it. Choko Late - your cake is wonderful. I appreciate each and every aspect of your cake. I admire your true talents. Thank you for the inspiration to attempt a cake so challenging. My cake is vanilla with vanilla buttercream. Each layer was covered in teal fondant. The bears are fondant as well. On the top layer, I used gumpaste to create the lace. The bodice piece is also gumpaste. I did not have any lace cutters, so I improvised and used pieces that I have and hand cut the remaining designs.
