A birthday cake for my little neighbour who was turning 8. All she asked for was a jewellery box cake, and she likes blue and purple, so this is what I came up with. Cake is a vanilla 9x13" cut in half and stacked, covered with BC and MMF. If I'd had more time I would have made a gumpaste ballerina model, but I had to make do with a plastic one from the local cake shop.
