Pirate ship cake for my son's 5th birthday. Sails are made out of gumpaste and everything else fondant.

Has a disaster the day before him party when the entire bow of the ship fell off (cake was just not strong enough to support decorations despite dowel supports). I used approximate 23 rice krispy treat bars to reconstruct the bow of the ship and attach it to the cake. Thank goodness it worked!
