what is 'Fleur du Lis?'
bjfranco 3/22/06 at 7:18am
Fleur du lis, Fleur de lis, Fleur de lys.....Translates to Flower of the Lily...... symbolizes french royalty, New Orleans Saints symbol on helmets, three petals represent the holy trinity, armies use it to represent spears, some say it represents the flower of Mary, etc, etc, etc. To me it has always been a symbol representing New Orleans / French Quarter. I have them all over my house.

Nope, homemade, buttery, hershey syrup frosting from this website & plastic paint scraper to smooth the sides.
