Golf Mishap

Golf Mishap on Cake Central

Made for 2 execs that share the same birthday and love of Golf. My first time making molded figures. Turned out so well. The gallery pictures helped me decide on the final layout. I especially love the frog on the guy's head. It's only 1.5 cm long...quite hard to hand-mold but turned out well.

That is sooooooooooooooo cute!!! Poor guy fell in the sand and other guy comes out with a little froggy. I'm sure it will be a big hit!!!

Thank you! I used to play with clay all the time when I was young...I guess I've found my medium. If you know any good books on molded figures...please let me know. I'm dying to learn more.

Glad you liked it. I used crushed graham crackers for the sand (an idea I got from some CC members!) and I carved the sandtrap before frosting the cake so it would look really deep.
