Baptism
Iced in BC with satin ribbon and gumpaste flowers and cross. I do not like this cross at all; but the customer had me copy a real one in the baby's room. Would not have been my choice for this cake. Again, i was sick, and not happy with my flower arranging....

How do you get your frosting so smooth? I use the viva towel method, but this looks even better. Any tips would be appreciated.

BEAUTIFUL ---- AMAZING!!! I am already planning for my daughter's first communion and it is 9 months away!! I will put this in my favs for sure!!! Did you use florists ribbon so it was "grease proof"?? How about the pearls and the oval shaped plate.......????? :D

OMG Sharon, this is sooo beautiful. You are so talented. I am so amazed at how you can get BC to look so flawless. I think the cake is beautiful, you are being too critical of yourself. I'm not sure if i'm crazy about the little bow on the cross either, but i do like the piping on it. Once again you inspire me to be a better decorator. Thanks for sharing this. Suz
