My entry for the MegaTaartenFestijn at Roermond, Netherlands, last weekend. Theme was 'Burlesque', which I combined with the lovely word 'reminiscence' for a cake (non-edible: styrofoam inside) inspired by '20/'30's stylish burlesque dancing. It is representing the image an elder lady has at the memory of her glory days as a burlesque dancer. I was rewarded first price AND favorite to the public. Still humbled that my hands and mind are able of creating this kind of art....
