I made this cake for a 50th Birthday (in case you couldn't tell-lol). The flag is Mauritian so I did the 50 in the same colours. It is hard to tell, but the flag is 16x12 inches and the 50 is carved from a 8x12. I had so much trouble covering them because of our extra long summer, 9 days over 32 celcius (a new record in Melbourne).
