1St Wedding Cake
This was my first 5 tiered wedding cake...it took me practically a day and a half to do by myself...thank god I did the baking a few days a head of time. The bottom/ top and middle tiers are all chocolate and the other two are vanilla...I was pretty pleased with the out come and so was the Bride and groom she couldn't believe that it was my first.....Please tell me what you guys think...Also is there a special tool or technique I should use or do for cutting the dowels?
Wow! Love your design! Great job.
Great job!!! I love it !!!
Oh my gosh, you're first 5 tier cake, congratulations!!! I think it looks great!!!!
Really cute. I love the dots all over the top layer. Way to go.
This is wonderful...if doing a lot of wedding cakes, you may want to purchase the stress-free cake support...it is pricey
I think it looks pretty danged awesome for your first!!! When I cut dowels, I put them in the cake and mark them then take'em out and cut'em.
Wow it's wonderful!!! Fantastic work!
Thank you all for the comments...and thanks Wendoger for the input on the dowels.
I purchased a wonderful little miter box from Micheals in the wood crafts department. It is SO EASY to cut precise edges now on the dowels.
