Acoustic Guitar
Acoustic guitar. Covered in MMF. 4th fondant attempt, 1st airbrush attempt. Strings are spaghetti and angel hair pasta (who knew pasta straight from the box wasn't perfectly straight?!?!). Cake is 100% edible. Not incredibly happy with it but it's growing on me.
I think this is fab! Did you use the wilton pan?

There is a Wilton pan??? No way. I had to buy a kids guitar at Walmart and trace the darn thing (my kids didn't mind as they got a new toy). I tried to free-hand one but my lack of any artistic skill stopped me dead in my tracks.
Awesome Job! Like Holly says, your much to critical of yourself. It's the best one I've seen yet. Did you use spaghetti and fondant for the keys too? I done one and used black liquorish for my strings, think I'll try spaghetti next time. GREAT JOB!

This is one of my favorite guitar cakes too! NICE! I know when you look at your own work for hours and hours you get sick of it, but to a fresh set of eyes it looks PERFECT!
