It's a metal cake stand. There's a pole/pillar down the center. They all screw together.

Me too ntertayneme. lol. I work at a speciality bakery and that's just one of our stands. I am not sure where they got it but, I'd also love to know. I will ask my boss where they got it.

LOL! Too funny!! It was a lot of fun to make. I heard that the whole cake was eaten or almost completely gone at the wedding. Must have been a large wedding. I am so glad that you all liked it. I emailed you a little bit ago but, It came back to me so I private messaged you on this site.
