I made this cake for a sweet little boy turining 2. This cake was very tall, approximately 19 inches. I had to remove both the shelves in my fridge to fit it inside! I love when a cake offers new challenges. I designed this cake by drawing it out full scale on paper so that I could figure out how big to cut the wings and determine their shape and to figure out how to get it to look like it was taking off. I was really happy with the way it turned out. TFL!
