Very Hungry Caterpillar Cake & Cupcakes

The cake is an 8" double layer WASC cake with Wilton Buttercream tinted red. The eyes, nose and ears were made of cardstock and I lined the back of the paper with parchment. I attached them to the cake just before the party with a scant amount of buttercream. I taped the ears to some plastic sticks I had saved from an Edible Arrangement bouquet and stuck them in the top of the cake between the two layers.

Cupcakes are WASC cake as well decorated with tinted buttercream piped with a 1M Wilton tip.

Leaf cake was a single layer 9x13 chocolate cake carved into a leaf shape. Iced with buttercream.
