Men's bridal shower "Honey-do" cake

3 layer bottom (box) and 1 layer top (lid) are all vanilla cake w/ bc icing, covered in vanilla fondant. Handmade gumpaste hindges, latches and handle. Molded, handpainted, chocolate tools.

WOW! The lid is cake? It doesn't look like there's anything holding it up!!!

Hi. Yes the lid is also cake on a 1/2 foam core board. I supported it with 2 1" plastic dowels that I angled to hold the top. If you look real close, you will see them. They are covered in black fondant, and with the top of the lid also being black, it hides them quite well. LoL
