I could've done a neater job with the fondant, I was just too excited to put it together, lol, but this was just a practice cake.. first attempt at hand-painting on a cake :) inspired by MAC's Graphic Garden collection :)

This is AMAZING!!! Love It, wished I could do fondant and painting that good,
But I really havent tried too, Im intimidated by fondant LOL

That's beautiful! People always ask me if I'm sad when they cut my cakes, and I always say no, but I'd be sad to see your work of art cut! Thanks for sharing!

Just beautiful!! I'm curious though...is that a piece of fondant that you applied on your cake...like a collar? Because I noticed your painting wasn't flush on the cake. If so, what a great idea! Your artwork is stunning!

Thank you very much!! Yes, that's exactly what it is.. I should've taken the time to trim the fondant underneath to make it flush, but I just couldn't wait to get it on, ha ha! Thank you, again!

is this crusted buttercream? and did you do this freehand? Paint with colors and alcohol? explain your beautiful technique please and where's the fondant edging you were talking about? I love this. Want to try it.
