Thanks everyone! The dark brown pieces are chocolate fondant. I basically cut a bunch of circles, lined them all up next to each other, then used the circle cutter at the "intersection" of 4 circles to get the 4 corner pieces cut out. Basically just a lot of circle cutting! Simple but tedious. ;)
