This was a birthday cake for Fred. Kidding...Mary. :-) It was soon after I had taken the Wilton course and wanted to try my hand at basketweave, so I stole the cake idea off the internet and went for it. My only regret is that if I had been comfortable working with fondant, I could have made the top white instead of the colour of buttercream icing. Oh well. Fred...er...Mary liked it. :-)
