This is a shower cake I did for my cousin. It was inspired by the blurry baby photo in the background - the rosettes match the blanket she is sleeping on and the middle tier is has the headband. The top and bottom tiers use Italian Buttercream icing. The middle tier is styrofoam and covered in Satin Ice fondant. The flower is a paper flower made out of coffee filters and food colouring. I'm still learning - I need to learn to pipe my rosettes more neatly!
