In community album: Beer / Wine / Cigars
Retirement party for a high school principal who collects wine. The label on the bottle was designed using the school mascot. First time trying to make a wine bottle, following an on-line tutorial, They needed a large cake, so it was a 12x18" cut lengthwise and stacked. It was probably too large for the size of the bottle. Covered in buttercream, then fondant for the crate, gumpaste leaves, and chocolate shavings. Fun to try, and would like to try again sometime.
